Bridge building:

In this session we look at different types of bridges, we start with building a beam bridge and progress to building a series of Truss bridges. The children work in groups of 2 / 3 and build a beam bridge over 40cm in length. We them follow directions to build sections of Truss bridge and join them together to create a series of bridges and send the train around.

This session links to Brunel or is great as part of a grand designs project.
