EV3 Mindstorms: Robotics

Run as part of the school day. Using Lego EV3 mindstorms we build and program EV3. These sessions are suitable for Yr 5&6 KS2 and Yr7,8,9 KS3.The sessions are run in small groups of 6 to 9 pupils at a time.


Sessions include:

Building EV3 mindstorm Tribot, programming Tribot to move forwards and back again.

Programming Tribot to move in a square and around the room without bumping into things.

Programming Tribot to bump into an obstacle, back up and turn.

Programming Tribot to find a line, and follow a line.

Programming Tribot to follow a wall & use a bump switch.

This group runs for 1 hour over 5 weeks for groups of 4 children.

session5. Other uses for low                         gearing, cranes,                           lift a brick..
