Mondrian. Art & Maths

This workshop is a great way to look at Mondrian art & include Maths. The Lego Mondrian pictures are 10x10 Lego studs. The students work out what Percentage, fraction and as a decimal all the colours are.  Suitable for Yrs 5/6

Art & Maths

We select which white peices of Lego to use to make the base. (10 studs x 10 studs)

Add the colours we wish to use.

We work out the percentage, fraction and decimal of each colour.

We then put 2 Pictures together, then 4 pictures together, then 9 & 16.

This group runs for 1 hour over 5 weeks for groups of 4 children.

session5. Other uses for low                         gearing, cranes,                           lift a brick..
